The Towns of Downtown

HARBOR TOWN:
(over the Auction Street bridge on Mud Island)

UPTOWN:
(just north of Downtown but still downtown to me)

Uptown original patiently waiting to be restored to it's original beauty.

RIVERTOWN:
(over the Auction Street bridge on Mud Island)

Condos with a pyramid in the backyard. How Egyptian.

What the heck is Mud Island? A misnomer; it's actually a peninsula with the Mississippi River on one side and the Wolf River Harbor on the other.

All styles of architecture...In the first picture (Harbor town) the pink flowers are a variety of 'Bougainvillier' isn't it...(Mr Mignon told me that)?
The pyramid is definetly Pharaonic....
