Downtown Neighborhood Association


There is a Downtown Neighborhood Association (DNA) meeting tomorrow, October 16 at 7pm in the Lincoln American Tower at 62 N. Main Street. The University of Memphis Provost will give an update on the progress of the Law School. The historic old post office at Madison and Front pictured above, is being renovated and is scheduled to become the new home of the U of M Law School by fall 2009. That building is beautiful and I am so happy that it can be refurbished to its former glory and become a great addition to downtown.

I remember there was also a project for the extension of a hospital or clinic center (I think on Poplar close to downtown) so that they could host innovative private projects on Biotech. Am I correct ?
How many law schools do we have in Memphis ?
