A Blimp Floats Over Downtown on a Sunny Sunday and The Beach

On my way to Bluff City Coffee I caught sight of a blimp floating around in the blue sky above downtown. I say a blimp because it didn't say "Goodyear" anywhere on it that I saw, so I guess this is the "Direct TV" blimp. But that just doesn't sound right. Anyway, we are having a cooler but beautifully sunny Sunday.

Later this week I will be at the beach for a few days. My schedule will look something like this (assuming the weather will cooperate):
Wake Up
Go Back to Sleep
Wake Up (for real)
Take a beach bag full of beach necessities to the beach
Do beachy things
Go to dinner, preferably somewhere on the beach
Have a cocktail or two, preferably somewhere on the beach
Go back to friend's house
Go to sleep

I have no Plan B schedule for rainy days. I'll work that out if it happens, but surely not!
It's been three years since I've been to a beach. I've had numerous opportunities but each time I decided not to go for various reasons, though I would have liked to. So, I'm really looking forward to this.

Enjoy yourself -- is this a beach which is not located on a river bank but rather on an ocean? :) Good for you. I love your to do list -- especially the firm resolve to do "beachy things". I wish you relaxation and a good battery recharge!

Thank you - I will be in FLA. on the gulf, so no muddy river banks for me. But the forecast looks like rain the entire time I am there! No matter, I'm working on plan B.

I love the beach. I went yesterday in fact. That bad part is that in the northern hemisphere you are entering summer and here we are making the slow trek into winter. Yikes... That means cold, rain and no more beach.

The blimp was for TV coverage of the NCAA tournament of course. They do those exterior shots of sports venues for the commercial transitions. I saw it too coming in from AR that afternoon.
