In the center of this shot you can see a couple either getting married or renewing their vows we all guessed. Either way, they took respecting the Q to another level.

I was clearly a very lazy photographer snapping these from one spot and never pulling my camera out again. But for once I thought I'd try to actively participate in something and not memorialize every second. The festival continues today and tonight it will start to wrap up.

I think they are great shots and it certainly looks as if everyone had a great time!
I totally hear you. I am trying to keep my camera in my pocket on occasion. I have developed into a knee jerk photo taker and I do not like that. I want to enjoy events such as this for what they are to me, not just for my blog. Looks like it was a ton of fun on a late spring day.
