For all of you going to music fest this weekend, have fun, be safe and get some rain boots. The fun part should be easy enough as there are some great bands lined up. If you find yourself looking for a quick bite to eat while you're downtown this weekend and you're not crazy about festival food, here are some places to get good food in a hurry:
Frank's Main Street Market & Deli, 327 S. Main has great deli sandwiches and sides. Their green goddess slaw is very nice. There is also indoor and outdoor seating.
Beignets at 124 E. G.E. Patterson has a deli case full of prepared food and of course, their regular menu items made to order.
Riverside Grill (in the BP station) at 694 Riverside has a counter that does a brisk lunch business.
Miss Cordelia's at 737 Harbor Bend in Harbor Town has a fantastic deli as well as a case of prepared foods.
Pearl's has a sandwich sign guy walking around downtown advertising their $7.99 Express Lunches served Monday through Friday. http://www.pearlsoysterhouse.com/pexpress.pdf
To keep in mind for the future: Hott Diggidy Dog (gourmet hot dogs, so the sign says) on Madison between Second and Third looks to be opening soon.
