Missed the Roller Derby Girls; Upper Egyptian farmers today; Mother's Day Brunch downtown

I was informed yesterday by a CCC guide that the Roller Derby demo had been cancelled. Drat, disappointing. But as Poppy and I continued our lunch time walk I happened to see some construction workers sitting on a bench in Court Square feeding the squirrels. Those bold little critters were literally taking the bits of food from their hands. Not as good as the Roller Derby but still entertaining.

Today as part of the CCC's Downtown Alive series here's what will be happening in Court Square at lunch time: "Middle Eastern dances from different regions; Sinai Bedouin, Lebanese fortune tellers, upper Egyptian farmers, etc."

Upper Egyptian farmers? And what could the "etc" possibly mean?
I'm going to this for sure. I need a fortune teller.

Having their usual Sunday brunch from 10am - 4pm. I really don't know what would make a Mother's Day brunch particularly motherly and different from a regular brunch in the first place.

The only one of the brunches I've been to is the Majestic and I can say it has always been good.
