The garage at Third and Monroe is having what looks like some heavy duty work done. Some cars were parked on the ground floor so I assume it's still possible to park there. This is the garage right across the alley from the Rendezvous. If you've parked there within the past couple of years, you understand it needed some work.
An article in the Daily News reports that the City Council will discuss the proposal to close Madison Avenue from Front St. to Cooper to vehicular traffic on Sundays from 5am to noon. This is councilman Shea Flinn's proposal aimed at creating an "urban trail" for bikers, walkers and runners.

We always park in that garage and yes it has been in need of renovations for as long as I have been able to drive....a long, long time.
