The Orpheum has announced its Summer Classic Movie Series Lineup! Here's their message and the movie list:
New to the 2011 lineup is the addition of a month long Memphis Film Fest which features movies that have a Memphis connection. The Memphis Film Fest, which will take place during the month of July, will include pre-show talks and special guest appearances by some familiar faces in the Memphis film scene. In addition to award winning, critically acclaimed classic films, The Orpheum offers pre-show activities such as trivia contests, fashion shows, dance lessons, themed costume contests, vintage film shorts, and even a mini-concert on The Orpheum's own Mighty Wurlitzer Organ before each feature film.
