Qu'est-ce que c'est?/What is it? Friday

This week's qu'est-ce que c'est is odd but not surprising for me. I guess you'd call this the Christmas Tree of Death or Le Sapin du Cranes or The Nightmare Before Christmas Christmas Tree. The reason why it's not so surprising is that skulls as a fashion motif are very prevalent here. Seriously in almost every shop you go to there are skulls on some item or another. You find them on bags, on jackets, on socks, on sweaters, on scarves, even on boots. So, why not on Christmas trees? If you look closely you'll see there's even an IV drip bag that says "blood bath shower gel". Nothing says holiday cheer and goodwill towards man like a good ol' fashioned blood bath. Really, you could save a lot of money with this concept and re-use all your halloween decorations on your christmas tree of death.

Look! Little Christmas trees waiting for sparkling skulls...

Look! It snowed again today. Huge flakes fell for a couple of hours but again there was no accumulation.

Well, that is different. Not sure it is quite the right image for Christmas.
