The Veneto: Prosecco, Grappa and Islands

Ok, so in an effort to flesh out the details of the trip to the Veneto region in northeastern Italy, I have posted a few photos. Unfortunately, they are in no particular order and jump around from town to town...it was a whirlwind trip but fun...
Valdobbiadene, Veneto, Italy - Prosecco country

The town of Bassano del Grappa is the birthplace of grappa and there is even a grappa museum there. In the interest of cultural experience, we did manage to sample a few flavored ones like coffee and chocolate. This town as well as Valdobiaddene, Follina and Asolo are all located in the picturesque Pre-alps. To read more info and see photos from the Poli grappa distillery click HERE
