La Pâtisserie de la semaine

This week's pâtisserie is a little bit of a cheat but I need a quick post to get me re-started after a couple of weeks off. Some Tunisian friends of my boyfriend were in Lyon this past weekend and stopped by with some gifts. They brought a delicious assortment of cookies as well as six different olive oils from different provinces in Tunisia and some of the best dates I've ever had. Now I've been given little tins of cookies before and normally they are dry and unexciting but every single one of the little cookies that popped out of the dramatic red tin decorated with a hamsa hand was delicious. I have no idea what each of these are called, except for the little baklava in the middle, but all of them are great with almond and pistachio being the dominate flavors.
